Adishatz /Adieu @ Dublin Theatre Festival
1-4 October 2014
French performer Jonathan Capdevielle spent his teenage years learning to imitate pop icons, singing the greatest hits from 1980s pop culture – especially those by Madonna. Adishatz / Adieu is his self-portrait; a collection of songs that wanders between real life and fantasy. Sung a cappella and featuring a male choir, Adishatz / Adieu is a powerful study of the vulnerability of adolescence.
